Risk assessment

With the risk assessment (GBU) by Lendis, you can ensure that employees are equipped safely and legally compliant in the home office.

Most companies can no longer imagine working from home without it. Employers are responsible for the health and safety of their employees. Compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (ArbSchG) and the Ordinance on Workplaces (ArbstättV) is mandatory for companies - there are no gray areas!

Violations of the regulations are expensive: fines of up to €30,000 are possible.

With Lendis, companies and their employees are on the safe side, because the Lendis risk assessment (GBU) evaluates the home office in terms of health and safety standards.

Lendis offers a virtual risk assessment or an on-site risk assessment by our logistics partners.

The virtual risk assessment

The virtual risk assessment from Lendis enables a detailed analysis of the employee's home office workplace. Based on the results of the virtual risk assessment, Lendis provides specific instructions for improving the working conditions of the home office workplace and complying with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (ArbSchG) and the Ordinance on Workplaces (ArbstättV).

The results of the virtual risk assessment are documented in the system and are available at any time. Employers fulfill their duty of care towards their employees. In the event of an accident or a safety inspection, employers can meet their obligation to provide evidence and reduce the risk of liability cases.

Important: Mobile working is not legally an exception and compliance with health and safety regulations is essential. Here too, employers are responsible for the health and safety of their employees - a responsibility that is often overlooked.

The on-site risk assessment

With the Lendis on-site risk assessment, Lendis uses its Europe-wide partner network to support employees directly at their home office workplace.

The partners directly implement the structure, location and alignment of the workplace for the best possible working conditions and in accordance with regulations.

The partner provides detailed, signed documentation so that the obligation to provide evidence can also be met during the on-site risk assessment.

Conclusion

The employer's responsibility for the health and safety of employees working from home and mobile working is regulated by law. The Lendis risk assessment provides companies with a reliable solution to avoid legal risks and ensure the highest possible productivity of employees - no matter where they are working from.
